Our Commitment to the Community Through Reser’s Cares

At Reser’s, serving others comes naturally…after all, we are a food company! Supporting our communities is a fundamental core value and an important part of our long-standing recipe for success.

Each of our facilities has an established Reser’s Cares Team, made up of a cross section of employees empowered to review and support requests for donations. We focus our giving on strengthening communities near our facilities. Each year, our Reser’s Cares Teams provide support to more than 900 community organizations and schools by coordinating our community volunteerism efforts, providing monetary support, and authorizing food donations to strengthen our neighbors.

Our Reser’s Cares Teams are in the following regions: Topeka, KS; Beaverton, Hillsboro, & Salem OR; Halifax, NC; Pasco, WA; Vista, CA

Contribution Guidelines

With so many great organizations and dedicated community members working hard to make our world a better place, we have developed these guidelines:

All requests must be in writing. Please feel free to attach any additional information you feel is important for our team to consider.
We support non-profit, 501c3 Organizations, approved non-profit partners, and public entities such as schools.
We look for local organizations whose missions align with ours, and who strengthen the community through innovative and inclusive work.
As our products need refrigeration, we are only able to authorize product donations to organizations who ensure food safety guidelines are followed.

Due to the number of requests, we’re sorry if we are not able to respond directly to each one. We can promise that each submission will be carefully considered.

Supporting our Reser’s Cares teams is just one of the ways we run our company to reflect the deeply-rooted values that we have as a family-owned and operated business. We also feel a responsibility to conduct business in a socially responsible manner and reduce our environmental impact within our operations and supply chain.

That philosophy is good for us, our employees, our customers, our communities, and our planet. We continually look for ways to reduce our footprint through recycling, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction. In addition, we're focused on expanding our clean label product list and sourcing ingredients though growers, processors, and councils who uphold sustainability standards and certifications.

Investing in Education Strengthens Communities

The Reser's Fine Foods Scholarship Program is a transformative opportunity for college-bound dependents of employees. Our goal is to empower our employees and their families by fostering a brighter future through education.

We recently awarded six deserving students with $5,000 renewable scholarships, enabling them to pursue associate's or vocational-technical degrees. We celebrate these talented students who were awarded scholarships for the 2023-24 school year!
