From the Driver’s Seat:

Erik Jones: “I’m excited to get to New Hampshire this weekend and continue the strong runs we’ve been having the last few weeks with the win at Daytona and a couple of solid top-10 finishes. Last year at New Hampshire, the first race didn’t go as planned, but the second race we were able to qualify well, stay in the mix and finished sixth. Short tracks are where I learned to race and where I have the most comfort, so that along with the momentum the DEWALT team has right now, we should be able to have another solid weekend and be in the mix at the end.”

From the Pit Box:

Chris Gayle: “It’s been a while since we’ve had a short-track race, but this is one that I’m really looking forward to racing. Erik qualified really well at both Loudon races last season, and we had one of our best short track runs of the season at the second Loudon race. It’s a tough place to get the car handling perfect. Trying to get the car to turn well enough thru the middle and early exit of the flat corners and not loose rear traction / grip on late exit is always a bit of a compromise. Not to mention that NASCAR will continue to put traction compound down in the corners similar to last year. So there will be some continued learning of how that process effects practice and the race, and our car adjustment strategy throughout the weekend. However, it’s a great opportunity to continue the momentum this team has built over the last month, and go chase after another win.”
