Reser’s Wins 2008 Excellence in Family Business Award

Beaverton, OR, November 20, 2008 — Today, Reser’s received a 2008 Excellence in Family Business Award from Oregon State University’s Austin Family Business Program. More than 100 family businesses were nominated, but only six businesses and three individuals received this prestigious award that symbolizes innovation, entrepreneurship, and community involvement.

According to Robin Klemm, director of the Austin Family Business program, “These businesses represent key role models for all fledgling, challenged, and hard-working family businesses.”

Mark Reser, president of Reser’s shares, “My grandmother started this business in a small
farmhouse in Cornelius, Oregon and we’ve grown to 2,000 employees with production and distribution facilities across the country. Over the past 60 years, we’ve been honored to share our family recipes and passion for wholesome, delicious food. And we’re honored to win this award.”
