Not only does Reser’s have a great staff of chefs, the Research and Development Department consists of scientists as well. Farzaneh Turk is one of Reser’s leading Food Technologists. She works closely with our Product Development Chefs to come up with new and exciting Reser’s products.
FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS WORK ON A MYRIAD OF DIFFERENT PROJECTS:
- Implementing existing and newly discovered ingredients and technologies
- Inventing new recipes and modifying existing ones
- Conducting experiments and producing sample products with a specific flavor, color, texture, etc. in mind
- Selecting products from suppliers
- Preparing products based on cost parameters
- Developing new products
