We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor - 2nd Shift.
This newly created position will be responsible for supervising, establishing and monitoring daily duties of the 2nd shift Quality Assurance staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as go to person for guidance and resolution of 2nd shift quality issues.
- Provide training on food safety, product quality and laboratory testing techniques.
- Ensure verification of records and document control.
- Provide review and disposition of hold product.
- Implement new food safety and Quality Assurance programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in food manufacturing or similar environment.
- Bachelor or Science degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline.
- Supervisory experience.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Leadership and decision-making skills; Flexibility and attention to detail.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
