We are currently accepting applications/resumes for a Pricing and Promotions Coordinator.
Essential functions include:
- Analyzing and obtaining a working knowledge of the current use of pricing discount codes, special price files and promotions module. Making recommendations for improvement.
- Working with Accounts Receivable to identify problematic customers which result in pricing related deductions.
- Working with customers, sales and broker community to implement corrective action plan where pricing related deductions occur.
- Monitoring daily zero price reports and taking corrective action.
- Inputting customer long term special prices and short term promotional allowances.
- Monitoring daily inbound EDI transmission reports for pricing discrepancies, following-up with appropriate sales staff and/or broker for corrective action.
- Publishing customer specific price lists on demand.
- Developing a working knowledge of current BPCS pricing program capabilities.
- Publishing base price lists for all facilities with additional publications associated with price advances, new item launch and SKU consolidation.
- Publishing annual margin reports.
- Executing global price advances and all associated communications with Sales.
- Working closely with Sales and Marketing to implement recommended pricing strategies.
Successful candidates will have:
- Ability to make and implement sound decisions in a timely manner.
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- 10 key by touch with speed and accuracy.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities.
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility with all departments.
