THIRD PARTY AUDITS

All of Reser’s manufacturing plants receive at least one detailed third party audit each year (and some plants have several). These intense reviews are conducted by recognized third party audit firms such as Silliker, Inc., NSF Cook and Thurber, and AIB. They specialize in the evaluation of the physical facility and the quality systems, scoring every program against top food industry standards. These audits typically take two full days, and evaluate the following categories:

  • Sanitation, Housekeeping and Hygiene
  • Rodent and Pest Control Management
  • Receiving and Inventory Control
  • Process and Product Evaluation

  • Product and Plant Security

 

Our expert auditors evaluate many food operations each year, and they serve as a new and unbiased observer of our plants status. The observations and suggestions that result definitely make our plants better and our products safer.

These audits are scored, with 100% being a perfect score, and Reser’s plants routinely score in excess of 90%, which is in the Excellent category. We are proud of our performance in these rigorous evaluations of our operations, and pleased to share the resulting audit reports with any customer who would find them of interest.
